Louson Drums and Music Therapy

Our connection to Music Therapy as a company began in the summer of 2016, when a visitor to our booth at a local I Made It! market here in Pittsburgh suggested that we get in touch with some Music Therapists to introduce our products to them.Shortly after, I began researching Music Therapists in the local area and I found Michelle Muth, MT-BC and her website http://m3musictherapy.com. We met for coffee and talked about her profession and its need for portable and convenient percussion. You can carry six drums (or more!) over your shoulder with a carry case.In fact, we recommend wearing...

New online store platform, new 2017 CajonTab models

If you've visited LousonDrums.com in the last year and a half you've probably noticed that things look different. Thats because we've moved to a new e-commerce platform! We have used Squarespace since our founding in 2015. I think its a great platform to easily design and create websites, but Shopify has a few more features that will help us reach more people and sell more CajonTabs. The new website is streamlined to put the focus on the CajonTab, our innovative portable cajon drum. Louson Drums is committed to growing our company, and 2017 will be a busy year for us. We are already planning on attending two more music therapy conventions in March, and have plans for many many more shows...
