Floating external snare system for cajon and CajonTab®: birch with maple click snare castanets

Are you looking to add some new sounds to your cajon? 

Easily add a snare as well as a wooden castanet click sound to your drum with our external snare with hard maple click attachment.

The snare bar is secured to your cajon via two included guitar strap buttons. Simply drill pilot holes and screw the buttons into your cajon where you’d like the snare.  We recommend about 2 inches up from the bottom, and about 2-2.5 inches back from the face.

To install without drilling or screwing, simply use plastic keychain hooks with adhesive backing (found it most home improvement stores) and attach the snare elastic to the hooks on the side of your cajon.

Don’t go out and buy a new cajon.  Just modify your old one and breath new life into it!
