This is our Standard 10” Cajontab®️ with two maple click snares attached to the external snare bar.

These simple click snares serve as a wooden castanet or clap sound, giving the player additional options for building beats with a CajonTab®️.

The click snares are hand sanded and hand finished hard maple. This wood is tough and dense and creates a crisp click tone when struck.

  • Are the click snares detachable from the snare bar?

    Yes, they can be removed.  They can be added to other instruments or locations as well!

  • do the different wood snares affect the sound dramatically? More subtly?

    The different woods don't affect the snare sound in any way that I can detect!  The different woods are there for aesthetics.
